Family owned and operated since 1989, Wild Marsh Sporting started with a desire to create a family-oriented place with a fun atmosphere for all who visit with hopes of leaving a legacy in the years to come.

Located in Clear Lake, Minnesota, we're more than just a shooting club; we believe in families and friends that can come together to enjoy this ever-growing sport, while spending time in the outdoors. 

Chris and Debbie Mortensen had a vision and with their close friend, Dennis "Zeke" Steininger have come to see it grow over the years. Starting with just one 50 target course and manual traps to now 4 - 50 target courses and automated traps with 2 - 3 trap presentations offering a variety of presentations and challenges every time you visit. In, 2003 the Rifle/Pistol Range and 5-Stand with shelters opened and offered more flexibility and opportunity even when the weather doesn't cooperate. Then in 2009, we introduced you all to brand new Trap Field and just last year we also started offering FITASC! You will never get bored, with our 500 Target Sporting Clay League, Kids and Clays league, Numerous Fundraisers/Events, Tournaments, Private coaching, beginner Clay Target Stations and a variety of Target presentations to keep you guessing and challenged there is something for everyone in the family. As we continue to grow, we hope to offer more new and exciting opportunities in the future!

Say hi to Chris, one of our owners, operators, fixers and the guy responsible for all the fun, exciting and sometimes challenging Clay pigeon presentations! If you leave a station feeling bewildered, happy, discouraged and wanting to understand "how you missed that clay." Chris is responsible! He will keep you guessing and make sure you never get bored! When that trap needs a little TLC, he will whip on over and assist to keep your day moving smoothly along. Chris is at the heart of Wild Marsh and dedicates he is time and energy to make your visit a memorable one.

Zeke, one of our owners has slowed down over the years, but loves being at Wild Marsh and will always great you with a smile! If you ever get a chance to try one of "Zeke's burgers" during one of our tournaments, you will not be disappointed.

Deb, Manager/Co-owner of Wild Marsh is probably the one answering the phone when you call, emailing you, MCing the League Banquet, organizing the league and all the fun events at Wild Marsh. She is also the friendly face that will great you at the counter. If you have a question/concern or just want to chat, Deb is your person! 

Family is important to Chris and Deb, and some of us know them as Dad and Mom or Grandpa and Grandma. You will probably see some of those family members throughout the year helping out here and there.
